To underscore my esteemed colleague's recent post, I offer this e-mail exchange:
"Due consideration"? "Communications"? "Feedback"? In dealings with this administration, utterly meaningless. Why not pay us all in one lump sum? Of course, the Provost's Office does not know how to spell my name. Not surprising given the literary quality of the memorandum. Is there no one in the administration capable of writing a coherent sentence in English?
